The steam curing process is basically a large tumbler that’s filled with steam that softens the tobacco and readies it for the flavoring process. During the entire manufacturing process, the tobacco is only touched by human hands once, and that’s when the tobacco is fed into the grinder. After that, it’s touched again when you open the can! Very sanitary you say, it has to be due to the Swedish food standards! Ok, back to the flavoring process. |
